Celtic Cross continues our line of knotwork inspired patterns. The source for this design is a small motif in a Cross-carpet page of the Book of Durrow, a 7th century Irish Gospel book. Gold on red always works well, but don’t limit your colour choices to this combination. Think of other “materials” that a Cross may be made from – like stone or another metal – and then consider what other background colours will make your Cross sing out. |
