High summer brings a profusion of roses, glossy leaves and bright rose hips to our gardens. Inspired by this we designed a rose block with corner motifs which form a lovely secondary design of rosehips and leaves. You can make SUMMER ROSES as shown for a wall hanging or join more blocks for a larger “bed-of-roses” quilt – or try 3 or 4 blocks in a single row for a gorgeous table runner. This pattern also contains an optional quilt motif for the area surrounding the rose blossom. |
