We will ask for only that personal information (such as name, address, and phone number) necessary to fill your order and to support our customer relationship with you. We will safeguard all such information you provide to us and will not share, trade or sell personal information on any of our customers with any other party for their use in marketing or solicitation.

On the Three Swans Studios Web site, you will be able to provide all the personal information we require over a Secure Server supported by secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption, the standard encryption protocol used on the web. This means that the software we use scrambles the personal information you provide while it is in transit to us. However, if you are still uncomfortable with sending personal information over the Internet, you can always place your order over the phone or through the mail. We will place your name and address on Three Swans Studios newsletter or mailing lists only if you give us permission to do so. And you will be able to have your name removed from any such list at any time.

Returns Policy – Our Guarantee of Quality

Customer satisfaction and product quality are very important to us. That is why we take great care to ensure that every Three Swans Studios quilt pattern that goes out our door is free from any manufacturing defects. If it is not, we will replace it. Simply send us back the defective item (just the actual quilt pattern or instruction sheet which has the defect) and a copy of the sales invoice, and we will immediately send you a replacement item. We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you and will credit you a similar shipping amount on your next purchase from us of a Three Swans Studios quilt pattern.

Because of the ready availability of photocopying equipment, we cannot exchange any quilt pattern with a different pattern or refund the purchase price.

As you can appreciate, it takes us hundreds of hours to develop each Three Swans Studios quilt pattern and to make the prototypes. These patterns are our creations and it is through them that we are making our living. In addition to our time and creative efforts, we also incur significant costs to manufacture, package and market the quilt patterns.

Three Swans Studios holds the copyright on all of its quilt patterns and promotional material. None of this material may be copied, reproduced, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without permission from Three Swans Studios. As the purchaser of a Three Swans Studios quilt pattern you are allowed to use the pattern only for personal, non-commercial use, except as allowed below.

At this time we will allow Quilters to sell or raffle a single finished piece based on a Three Swans Studios design where all proceeds of the sale or raffle are given to a registered charity. At this time we will also allow Quilters to publicly display their finished pieces based on Three Swans Studios designs and to keep all prize winnings. What we require in these circumstances is that Three Swans Studios be informed in writing of these events and that there be full, public disclosure that the finished piece is based on a Three Swans Studios design.

We will allow Three Swans Studios quilt designs to be used in instructional classes and workshops, provided that everyone involved in the class or workshop purchases their own copy of the Three Swans Studios pattern being used.
