Three Swans Studios - New Design Line Announcement/Spring 2006

April, 2006 Three Swans Studios is very pleased to announce the introduction of our new line of needlework patterns, starting with the following punch needle designs:

v Oak Leaf & Acorns (TSS 4068): a small branch of oak & acorns to bring Autumn’s woodland bounty into your home all year

v Tulip Bouquet (TSS 4069): the almost symmetrical design of this graceful tulip arrangement gives it a lovely, calm, joyful quality

v Ginkgo Leaves & Dragonfly (TSS 4070): a glimpse of delight – with a dragonfly passing in front of a small branch of ginkgo leaves

v Winter Fruits (TSS 4071): juicy, luscious pomegranates inspired this richly coloured design of winter fruits

v Summer Berries (TSS 4072): bring a little handful of delicious summer into your home for the whole year with this small bunch of berries and leaves

v Cottage Pinks (TSS 4073): this small cluster of cheerful pinks is a perfect reminder of the delights of a cottage garden

v Ruffled Tulips (TSS 4074): a small cluster of exuberant ruffled tulips to bring the pleasure of this joyful flower into your home all through the year

v Berry Sprig (TSS 4075): a lovely & richly coloured arrangement of berries and leaves – this design is a perfect size to make a very special eyeglasses or cell phone case.

The Collection

Our Three Swans Studios collection of patterns includes stained glass and appliqué designs and now, with the introduction of our needle work line, eight designs for punch needle. These latest additions to our collection take their inspiration from nature’s small, beautiful delights: fruits, blossoms, leaves, berries and, that most enchanting of insects, the dragonfly. Our punch needle patterns include concise instructions to transfer the design and work the project and, in addition to the listing of threads used for the version of the design on our cover, we list three alternative thread colour combinations which could be used. Our stained glass and appliqué pattern lines continue to grow – our most recent addition to the stained glass collection is a beautiful Celtic Knot (TSS 2025) and Spring Tulips (TSS 3040), Pomegranates (TSS 3041), and First Fruits (TSS 3042) are the newcomers to our appliqué line. All our stained glass patterns are complete images and full size (no flipping, rotating or enlarging necessary) and come with comprehensive and easy to follow instructions for both machine sewn reverse appliqué and a truly fast and accurate quick-fuse method. In addition all of these patterns are drawn with a broken line down the centre of the stained glass “lead” lines which can be used as a guide for a bias binding technique. The appliqué patterns come with instructions for our very easy, fast and accurate quick-fuse technique and our favorite hand appliqué method.
